Ian McCabe is an actor, writer and director. Ian has studied comedy, writing, and clown in Chicago and Philadelphia. Ian has appeared in Chicago's The Waltzing Mechanics, Process Theatre Group, Caffeine Theatre, NewBeast Theatre Works and First Folio Theatre.  Other regional credits include Cardinal Stage, Two Pigs Productions, Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute, The Shuler Theater, South Carolina Repertory Company, Actors Theatre of Indiana and Bloomington Playwrights Project.

He is also an experienced teaching-artist and community engagement professional. Ian is proud to be a founding ensemble member with Lean Ensemble, where he is the former associate artistic director and began the education program. Ian has directed LET's productions of The Underpants and Tea at Five and appeared in Tribes, Constellations and The Importance of Being Earnest.
