Mimi Wyche
Mimi Wyche is delighted to join LET as an ensemble member, after appearing as Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest and Ethel in Barefoot in the Park. Mimi has performed on Broadway, in fifteen Off-Broadway productions, and in over thirty regional plays and musicals. Highlights include Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd at the Guthrie Theater, MN; The Duchess in Once On a Summer’s Day at Ensemble Studio Theater, NY; and as The Subscriber in “ the Race To Urga” at the Mitzi Newhouse Theater, NY. She has worked with such directors as John Guare, Trevor Nunn and Julie Taymor, and as soloist in Meredith Monk’s Carnegie Hall premiere. Trained as a classical singer, Mimi has sung with opera companies, symphonies, and performance art productions across the country. She has written six one-woman shows, one of which, Eaten Alive, toured colleges in the US and Canada for five years. Mimi is currently working on a new piece entitled: Depression!: The Musical.
